Innovative online supermarket Picnic joins as title sponsor of cycling team Team Picnic PostNL. This is the first time this "supermarket on wheels" has supported a sports team. Picnic, which launched in 2015, has been delivering in Germany since 2018 and in France since 2021. Sponsoring a cycling team with international fame is in line with the desire to further expand brand awareness. Picnic will remain on board the men's, women's and talent team led by team manager Iwan Spekenbrink at least through 2028. With this move, Picnic hopes to inspire others to invest in a healthy future and responsible use of mobility, both on and off the road. It is also a signal that smart companies, which take a critical look at current mobility issues, are gaining a right to exist. Moreover, Picnic's 100% electric delivery vans save up to 15 individual car trips to the supermarket per trip!
