During the Cycle Mobility Summit, part of the Dutch Cycling Week, Olivier Coops, founder and CEO of TILER, presented the innovative charging solution they offer for e-bikes. He stressed the importance of smart, safe and user-friendly charging systems at a time when regulations around batteries and fire safety are tightening. TILER's technology supports employers and public organizations to further encourage e-bike use and expand micro-mobility as a full-fledged alternative to the car.

This approach is also resonating internationally. In southern Germany, TILER and mobility provider Evhcle are working together to wirelessly charge e-cargobikes in shared mobility networks. By using special "charging tiles," batteries no longer need to be changed manually, saving time and costs. This keeps bicycles continuously available to users and improves both operational processes and environmental impact. The positive results in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germering and Puchheim show that this technology can become a sustainable, efficient standard for scaling up light electric vehicles.

The experiences from southern Germany fit seamlessly with the vision shared by TILER at the Cycle Mobility Summit: with innovative solutions for e-bike charging, cities, companies and mobility providers can give a solid boost to bicycle use, health and sustainable mobility - not only in the Netherlands, but throughout Europe.
