The adventurous gravel cycling event Gooische 200 forms a new eye-catcher within the Dutch Cycling Week this year. On this anniversary edition, the Gooische 200 not only presents its famous 200 km gravel ride, but also launches a special 100 km anniversary route. All this takes place in the province of Utrecht, where the Dutch Cycling Week and the Gooische200 join forces to unite enthusiasts and brands. Bjorn van de Langenberg (Super Sport Events, organizer Gooische 200): "Super cool that during our anniversary edition we are going to collaborate with the Dutch Cycling Week which will allow us to enthuse a larger audience and provide our event with even more experience!"
Hilversum as epicenter of luxury and nature
The Gooische 200 takes you past stately villas and through imposing moors in the heart of 't Gooi. Where the Porsche Cayenne acts as a shopping cart, you get on the gravel bike to ride through the most beautiful paths and forests. With Hilversum as the start and finish location, this "Gravel Marathon Deluxe" is the highlight of the fall for many cycling enthusiasts. The exact route will be revealed a week in advance via a GPS file, so participants can enjoy all that 't Gooi has to offer at their own pace.
Ideal opportunity for gravel brands
As gravel is rapidly gaining popularity, the Dutch Cycling Week in cooperation with the Gooische 200 offers an excellent opportunity for bike brands to hitch a ride on this growing hype. Brands can present themselves at the start and finish location, where participants can see and test the latest products. This way we connect each other's networks and increase the impact for both exhibitors and the many gravel bikers who will be in attendance on October 4.
